Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani confirmed today, Saturday, the significance of the Baghdad International Energy Forum, which will be held in the capital, Baghdad, on September 6-7, with the participation of major global energy companies, alongside energy ministers, experts, and specialists from several countries.
During his receipt of the forum’s inauguration invitation from Dr. Abbas Al-Amiri, Director of the Tomorrow Risk Management Foundation, the Prime Minister stated that Iraq places utmost importance on developing the energy sector, enhancing its role in stabilizing global oil markets, and keeping pace with the transition to renewable energies. He also noted that the forum represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen partnerships and attract investments in a way that serves sustainable development.
