Professor Lutfiuddin Khojaev from the University of World Economy in Uzbekistan emphasized that the International Baghdad Dialogue Conference has evolved beyond being just an annual research gathering. It has become a vital platform to promote developmental communication between countries and societies through open dialogue and the exchange of views between specialists and decision-makers.
In a statement on the sidelines of his participation in the conference, Khojaev stressed the importance of the current session’s timing amid rapid regional changes. He highlighted the need to provide reliable sources of information to counter waves of media distortion and the lack of objectivity in some news platforms.
On another note, Khojaev praised the excellent organization of this year’s conference, pointing out the diversity of its topics covering key issues such as politics, security, economy, and transportation. He emphasized the necessity of thoroughly analyzing these files and making executive decisions to ensure the achievement of desired goals.
Khojaev also linked the significance of the conference to the historical and cultural ties between his country and the Arab world, calling for leveraging these commonalities to enhance regional cooperation and exchange of developmental expertise.
The International Baghdad Dialogue is considered one of the most prominent political and intellectual events in the region, providing a platform for constructive discussion among academics, diplomats, and experts on issues vital to the future and stability of the region.
